VirtualBox is a virtualization software which allows you, like VMWare Fusion and Parallels, to run other system software's on IntelMacs parallel. As guest operating systems, various Linux derivatives and Windows versions, including Vista are supported.

In addition to USB support and shared folders, VirtualBox provides a seamless mode for easy data exchange between Guest- and Host- system. Thus programs can be detached from the virtual environment and can be used on the desktop of the host.
